God gives life that is stronger than death. Our lives get bound up as we grieve a loved one or life as we’ve known it. We open our hearts to the presence of Christ among us. God’s love that raised Jesus from the dead gives us hope unbounded and power to live abundantly; beyond just memory, in full communion with those gone before us.

God comes to reorder our world. Along with beauty and goodness, Christmas can be chaotic—not unlike our lives. We stand in line for God—that is, watch and wait for God’s way in Christ to come. And for God we stand, that is parading God’s way for all to see. |
