God gives life generously for all. Greed distorts our desires and devours life in others. As God fills us with steadfast love, a generosity diet guides our covenant with all creation. And we share resources for life, as we do the bread and cup.

March 14, 2010 - A Way Forward in Forgiveness

God’s forgiveness gives us a way forward. Anger traps us in cycles of separation from God and others. Jesus gives us a new angle – that anyone can be forgiven in God’s love. We receive forgiveness, offer it to others, even those who hurt us most; and find a way forward to new life together in Christ. 

March 21, 2010 - Grace to Go On with Daily Work

God works goodness in everyday life. Daily routines can seem mundane and meaningless. As we follow Christ, purpose for life together in God’s love arises in all we do – large or small. We press on with gratitude for grace more than pride in our gains, and so share glimpses of God’s heavenly kingdom come.

March 28, 2010 - The Triumph of Sacrifice

God’s way triumphs through sacrifice. Like Jesus’ parade we face powers that would take our life. We open ourselves to Jesus’ sacrificial love as the way of true life. As we empty ourselves in service to others more than self, God’s power of peace in us and God’s will for our world reigns triumphant even over death.
