God strengthens us on life’s journey. More than tourists, we’re pilgrims through many transitions, in times of trial and places of beauty. We open our hearts and minds to the presence of Christ. We open our lives with compassion for other companions. And whatever our destination, we draw ever closer to dwelling in the fullness of God’s love. |
July 26 - Walls
God dwells among our life together. Walls of hostility in religion and society surround us and run through our heart and minds. Like stones in those walls Christ takes us down and rebuilds us, cemented in God’s Spirit with strangers and friends. With walls of grace, we create a sanctuary of peace in which God dwells. |
