Dec. 6th, 2009 - Opening God’s Gift

God wraps us together in love. Sometimes it’s hard to open ourselves up as a gift to others. Jesus comes to unwrap our fears, insecurities, misunderstandings. We open our hearts to his love; then open ourselves to others in that love, and receive the gift of life in the fullness of God’s peace.

Dec. 13th, 2009 - Repeat the Sounding Joy!

God’s Word reorders our world. Amid fear and injustice we join our voices with Jesus, with prophets and with all people. We repeat the sounding joy of comfort, hope and love.

Dec. 20th, 2009 -A Conspiracy of Faith

God gives us hope in Christ. Powers limit our present life and even what seems possible. By God’s Spirit within us, we arise in conspiracy. As Christ comes among us, we connect more deeply with others to share the blessedness of life together in God’s love.

January 10th, 2010 - You Are Beloved

God’s love transforms our lives. Amid all our tears and fears, our conflicts and confinements, we remember our baptism in Christ. We hear God call us beloved and feel the Spirit fill our deepest longings. We live to help others know they are so precious in God’s sight, as well.
