April 4, 2010 - Easter Sunday - A Witness for the Resurrection God raises up Christ among us. As we face life endings, it can be hard to know what to say or do. Beyond all we can explain or even understand we recognize Christ among our life together. We go – we speak, we sing, we live, we witness – in the power of his love, with resurrection hope that his kingdom will come. |
April 11, 2010 - Buddy System God gives us buddies in faith. It’s hard to swim through life when we’re scared, insecure, confused. God gives us a buddy system in the risen Christ. In baptism, the Spirit promises to keep us floating, calls us to learn to swim together in Christ, and sends us to buddy-up with others … far beyond our kin. |
April 18, 2010 - An Eternal Home God raises up life amidst death. We share all kinds of good times and bad, even death. The promise of God’s eternal love in Christ gives us perspective on the present and peace about our place in God’s eternal home. We feel inspired to share life together in the fullness of God’s love in our everyday homes. |
