About Our Worship
Worship is at the heart of our lives as the people of God. Each Sunday we gather at 10:00 AM to hear God's word of grace and guidance for our lives. Our services engage us in with reading of Scripture, preaching, prayer, music by our choirs as well as congregational singing. In worship, we respond to God's grace, and dedicate ourselves to living responsibly in every place and circumstances.
Large print bulletins, audio enhancements, an elevator from the ground floor to the sanctuary and children's guides are available. Children of all ages are welcome in worship. Following the “Time with Children" children may participate in Sunday School. Nursery care is offered for every service.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month and at other special services during the year. Baptism is celebrated for all – infants, children and adults - as they are committed to the life and care of our congregation.
Chancel Choir and Handbell Rehearsals
You don’t have to read music to be in choir! We will teach you everything you need to know! We have fun, fellowship, and great music! Questions? Call Dr. Laura Gilbertson.
Praising God with music is an integral part of our Christian life. We have three musical groups you can join - Chancel, Handbell and Children’s choir. Newcomers are always welcome for the regular choir season from September through early June and guest members for seasonal events such as special music in Summer, Christmas and Easter. If you are interested, contact the choir director or choir members.
Chancel Choir: Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 pm
This is the main vocal group for older youth and adult. We sing a wide range of sacred music for Sunday services from September to early June and also participate in special musical events. If you can sing hymns in tune, no further music skills are needed to join us! your musical journey will begin here.)
Handbell Choir: Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m. The Handbell Choir plays on the second Sunday of every month, except during the summer. No musical knowledge is necessary to be in this choir. The Handbell Choir uses four octaves of Malmark handbells and five octaves of Malmark Choir Chimes. The choir rings from September through May. We would love to have others share in this great and fun musical experience.
